We have been working with Evonith Steel for the past 17–18 years, and it has been a great experience. One of the best things about Evonith is their flexibility in rolling smaller quantities, which helps us get specific sizes and grades as per our needs. This makes it easier for us to serve our customers better. Because of this, our customers are satisfied, we are happy, and Evonith also benefits. We look forward to their growth and are excited to see them expand into new product ranges, including auto grades.

Based in Perundurai, we have been working with Evonith Steel since 2021, sourcing GP coils for our operations. In this short time, the relationship has grown really well, with steady business and great support from the Evonith team.
Their sales team has been especially helpful and easy to work with, which makes a big difference. We have also recommended Evonith to others and look forward to continuing this association in the years ahead.

Neelima Nikhil Nival from Bhiwapur village has been actively contributing as a Female Mobilizer under the Evonith Steel supported Unnati Project for the past nine months. With the support of the village ASHA worker, she joined the initiative and began engaging with women and girls by visiting households and encouraging their participation.
With consistent efforts and guidance, Neelima successfully formed four groups in her village, including groups for both women and adolescent girls. After undergoing training, she started conducting awareness sessions on key topics such as growth and development, nutrition, gender awareness, personal safety, and reproductive health.
These sessions have helped improve awareness and bring positive changes in practices related to menstrual hygiene, nutrition, and overall well-being. At the same time, the journey has been equally transformative for Neelima, helping her build confidence, strengthen her communication skills, and take on a more active role within her community.
Today, she continues to contribute meaningfully, while growing personally, and remains grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of women and girls in her village.

Improving Infrastructure to Empower Education
Improving Infrastructure to Empower Education
At the Zilla Parishad Primary School in Nandora, Sevagram, Pramila Satishrao Hatekar had been witnessing the gradual decline of the school’s condition over the years. The walls had become dark and damp, and the overall environment no longer felt like a space where children could learn and grow with enthusiasm. Rather than waiting for change, she decided to take the first step herself.
She began restoring the school by repainting the exterior with care, choosing materials that would last and improve the overall look and feel of the space. Her effort was driven by a simple belief that students deserve a clean and inspiring environment.
At a crucial moment, the team from Evonith Steel stepped in to support her initiative. While the painting work had started, the damaged roof posed a serious concern, especially with the approaching rains. With timely intervention, the necessary repairs were carried out, ensuring that her efforts would not go to waste and that the school would remain protected.
What started as one person’s initiative soon turned into a shared effort, transforming not just the building but also the spirit of the space. Today, the school stands renewed, reflecting care, dignity, and hope. It is a reminder that when individual determination meets the right support, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible.

Urmila Ravindra Nikode, a 28-year-old from Selukate village, always wished to contribute to her family’s income while managing her responsibilities at home. Living in a joint family with limited financial independence, she was determined to create an opportunity for herself.
Her journey began to take a positive turn when she became part of the livelihood programme in her village. Looking to build something of her own, Urmila actively joined training sessions and made the most of each opportunity. She was particularly engaged in digital literacy training, where she gradually built confidence in using smartphones, handling online transactions, and accessing financial services. With each session, she not only gained new skills but also developed the confidence to apply them in her daily life, opening up new possibilities for earning and independence.
With the support of the project, she received essential tools such as a biometric device, a computer, and a printer. Making the most of this opportunity, she gradually expanded her work by adding new services like lamination, upgrading to a colour printer, and registering as a Common Service Centre.
Today, Urmila is steadily building her own source of income and gaining confidence in her abilities. Her journey is a strong example of how determination, combined with the right support, can lead to meaningful and lasting change.

In 2022, CSR initiatives by Evonith Steel were introduced in the village. At the same time, Evonith Steel continued its annual tradition of organizing events to mark the end of the year and welcome the new one.
With the expectation of doing something new in the village through CSR, a group of women decided to participate in this annual event for the first time. They took the initiative to set up a food stall, offering puran poli, appe, along with other items, putting in dedicated effort to manage preparation, setup, and service. The stall attracted good participation and received a positive response from attendees. This experience not only encouraged the women but also helped build their confidence and motivated them to explore it further as a potential livelihood opportunity.
Following this, the women decided to continue the activity as a regular business. With support from Evonith Steel’s CSR team, they planned the next steps, identified a suitable location, and received the required guidance.
Today, Suruchi Mahila Enterprises operates successfully opposite DMart in Inzapur, providing the women with a steady source of income and greater financial independence.

Women Creating Their Own Opportunities
Women Creating Their Own Opportunities
As part of Evonith Steel’s CSR initiatives, a group of landless women from Selookate, along with women who had migrated from other states and settled in the village, came forward in 2023 with a shared goal to start their own enterprise.
With this intent, they approached the Evonith Steel team and presented their idea, seeking guidance on how to move ahead. After understanding their vision, support was extended to help them establish a spice manufacturing unit. The women were provided with the required resources and underwent training to build the necessary skills for managing the enterprise effectively.
Over time, the initiative has grown steadily, and the business is now operating at a good scale. Continued efforts are being made to support market linkages, including the purchase of their products, helping strengthen and sustain their operations.
This journey reflects the collective efforts and determination of the women, supported by the encouragement of the community and the guidance of Evonith Steel. Together, these efforts have made it possible to create stable livelihoods and support future growth and independence.
